Peppermint Butler is an inhabitant of the Candy Kingdom and loyal butler to Princess Bubblegum. He has a
mysterious past and an undefined relationship with Death.
- As a response to the occult knowledge Peppermint Butler displayed in "Death in Bloom", the Frederator Blogposted a piece of art showing him as a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, an occult society.
- During NY Comicon 2011's Adventure Time/Regular Show Panel, it was confirmed that Peppermint Butler's past and ties to the occult will be explored.
- In his first appearance, his voice sounded a little higher than usual.
